The display is same 4 Inch IPS LCD with usable WVGA 800 x 480 resolution amounting to 233 pixels per inches. The software is Android 4.4 KitKat for fully loaded android experience. The chipset is 1.3 Ghz MT6582 Quad core aided by 512 MB RAM and 4 GB internal storage. Graphics is being handled by 416MHz Mali 400 MP2 GPU. RAM capacity will limit the prowess of Quad core chipset, but at this price range, we don’t have any reason to complain about. Imaging hardware is also fairly basic with 5 MP rear camera and a VGA front shooter. Since both camera are fixed focus units, image quality will be poor. Xolo claims that you can record full HD videos from main camera. Rear camera also enjoys LED flash support, which can be used as for low light photography and handy flashlight apps. Body design remains same as A500s and the battery capacity is similar 1500 mAh, which doesn’t sound too great considering MT6582 on board. Xolo claims 7.6 hours of talk time and 383 hours of 3G standby time. Xolo Q500s is a decent budget quad core smartphone which will compete with the likes of Micromax Canvas Engage and Unite A092. Xolo Q500s will be available in several different color options for 5,999 INR.
