The 5 inch IPS LCD display has full HD 1080P resolution. The 441 PPI display also employs OGS technology, and is expected to offer crisp and sharp display with good viewing angles. MT6589 series (Canvas Turbo, Gionee Elife E6) disappeared overnight with the arrival of MT6582 series budget Android smartphone, but is now again popping up in several smartphones. The 1.5 GHz quad core MT6589T chipset is backed by 2 GB RAM and ample 32 GB internal storage. Imaging hardware includes 13 MP primary shooter with BSI 2 sensor and LED flash. The rear camera can record 1080p full HD videos. A 5 MP front shooter with BSI sensor is also present. Imaging hardware is again reminiscent of earlier MT6589 series devices, which is not a bad thing. Xolo has provided a large 3000 mAh battery inside that should suffice for a decent one day backup with moderate usage. Other features include 3G , WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. Similar to its predecessor, Xolo Q1000S Plus is quite sleek at 7.98 mm (vs 6.98 mm). The phone might be reminiscent of slightly old smartphones, but that doesn’t mean it’s a slouch.
