The Q1000+ will further populate the list of phones carrying the Mediatek processor. The device is said to have an MT6589 quad core processor with 1.2 GHz of clock per core. One can think of the Q1000+ as a thinner alternative to the Micromax Canvas HD, since almost all of the specifications are the same. The Q1000+ also comes with an 8MP rear camera, 4GB of on board storage, a display panel of 5 inches with HD resolution, just as the one found on the Canvas HD. But again, more than impressive specifications, XOLO aims to impress buyers by the dimensions, thickness particularly. Thinness seems to be on top of manufacturers heads, since we recently saw leaks of the Huawei P6 which is supposed to be 6.18mm thick. The exact thickness of the Q1000+ is not out yet, but very honestly we do not think it will challenge the Huawei P6.
Looking at the road map of XOLO releases, it looks like the device will be launched by the end of June or in the first 2 weeks of July. As for the pricing, there is no official word yet but folks at AndroidNova have mentioned the pricing to be between 13-14000 INR, which is a bit on the steep side for the configuration. This device does look interesting since there is something new apart from the regular run of the mill. You don’t often see such innovation from Indian manufacturers, but XOLO have indeed gone a step further. We shall wait for an official word from XOLO on this. [Source]
