About Xiaomi MIUI 9
— MIUI India (@MIUI_India) October 27, 2017 Xiaomi uses an optimized UI for their smartphones called MIUI. MIUI 9 is the latest upgrade to Xiaomi MIUI and is based on Android 7.0 Nougat for some devices. The upgrade brings many new features and optimizations your Xiaomi handset. Among the key features of MIUI 9, you get quicker app startup. A more optimized app startup would help the older Xiaomi smartphones keep functioning smoothly updating to MIUI 9. You also get Dynamic Research Allocation that allows the MIUI to prioritize the app that you’re currently using to make your experience smoother. This feature basically overrides the apps to prioritize them smartly. Other than optimizations that run in the background, you also get some cool new features on the latest MIUI. This new update allows you to search images for “people, location, expression, events, documents, screenshots”. A smart app launcher is also there to help you launch any apps based on the screen content.
