Last month, at the Redmi Note 7 launch event, Xiaomi announced that it would launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro soon. This will be an upgraded model especially in terms of camera and unlike the Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1 sensor on the Redmi Note 7, it will come with the Sony IMX586 sensor. Some reports also suggest that Redmi Note 7 Pro will be powered by the new Snapdragon 675 chipset instead of Snapdragon 660 chipset on the Redmi Note 7. In terms of design, the smartphone is expected to feature a similar design to the Redmi Note 7. If we talk about the other Redmi Note 7 Pro specifications, it is said to sport the same 6.3-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with narrow bezels. Also, it will pack a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 4.0 support. Meanwhile, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch Redmi Note 7 in India on February 28. However, it is not clear if the company will launch the Redmi Note 7 Pro in India along with the Redmi Note 7 on February 28. The Redmi Note 7 price in China starts at CNY 999 (Rs. 10,390 approx.) for the base variant. But with new SoC and camera sensor, the Redmi Note 7 Pro price might go up slightly and it could carry a price tag of CNY 1499 (roughly Rs. 15,900).
