Redmi Note 5, Note 5 Pro price in India, launch offers

Starting with the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, the phone’s price in India starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB+32GB storage variant and 4GB+64GB model is priced at Rs. 11,999. The Redmi Note 5 Pro price in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB+64GB variant, while  6GB RAM variant is priced at Rs. 16,999. The Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro come in Black, Gold, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold color options.

Both the Redmi Note 5 Pro and the Redmi Note 5 will be available for purchase on Mi.com, Mi Home stores and Flipkart starting at 12PM today. At the time of launch earlier this month, Xiaomi has announced some launch offers as well. The new Redmi Note 5 phones come bundled with the Jio #GiveMe5 Offer. Customers will get cashback vouchers worth Rs. 2,200 if they recharge with Jio’s Rs. 198 or Rs. 299 plans. Moreover, the company is also providing double data benefits on all plans above Rs. 198. However, the double data benefit is available only for the first three recharges only.

Redmi Note 5, Note 5 Pro Specifications

Refreshing the specs of both the phones, both the Redmi Note 5 and Note 5 Pro run MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat. The smartphones feature a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass.

When it comes to hardware, the Redmi Note 5 comes with the same old processor as Redmi Note 4. The Redmi Note 5 is powered by Snapdragon 625 chipset with Adreno 506 GPU and coupled with 3GB or 4GB of RAM. While the Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with an upgraded Snapdragon 636 chipset with Adreno 509 GPU. RAM options are available either 4GB or 6GB. On the front, it has a 20MP Sony IMX376 sensor with an LED selfie-light. The Xiaomi Redmi 5 was launched in India last week starting at a price of Rs 7999 and featuring a big 5.7-inch HD+ display and an octa-core chipset. During the first sale, Xiaomiwill be stocking 4 lakh units of the latest smartphone that has been branded as a “Compact Powerhouse”. To recall the specs, the Redmi 5 sports a 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 full-screen display and is powered by Snapdragon 450. It comes with up to 4GB RAM, runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat with MIUI 9 on top. The Mi TV 4A is an another affordable smart TV launched by Xiaomi at two price points for those who still want a smart TV but at affordable prices and in smaller sizes. The Mi TV 4A comes in two sizes – 43-inch with Full HD resolution, and 32-inch with HD resolution. Both the variants run on Patchwall UI with Android underneath, just like the Mi TV 4. The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A comes with up to 2GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, with the price fixed at Rs 13,999 for the 32-inch version and Rs 22,999 for the 43-inch version.
