The Redmi Note 4G supports TDD-LTE 2300 MHz and FDD-LTE 1800 MHz in India and incorporates a 1.6 GHz quad core Snapdragon 400 SoC and not an octa core MediaTek chipset as the Redmi Note. Also, it is a single SIM smartphone and not a dual SIM variant. To refresh on specifications, the Redmi Note 4G boasts of 5.5 inch HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The processor is aided by Adreno 305 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM. There is 8 GB of internal memory capacity that can be expanded externally by another 32 GB. Based on Android 4.4 KitKat layered with MIUI v5, the Redmi Note 4G features a 13 MP rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and FHD 1080p video recording. Also, there is a 5 MP front facing camera for video conferencing. Connectivity aspects onboard the device include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS and a 3,100 mAh battery. It has already been announced that the Redmi Note 4G will be available from Airtel flagship stores across six major cities in the country. Furthermore, Airtel is taking registrations on its official website and Flipkart will start accepting registrations from 6 PM today.
