The teaser video shows the number ‘6’ and a sketch of three devices. Going by the sketch, two devices are seen sporting an 18:9 display which could be Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A and the third device is seen sporting a notch display, which could be the Redmi 6 Pro. All the Redmi 6 devices have already been launched in China back in June.

If we recall the specs, both the Xiaomi Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A sport a 5.45-inch HD+(1440×720) 18:9 display. The Redmi 6 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset, while the Redmi 6A is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 quad-core processor. In the camera department, the Redmi 6 sports a dual-camera setup with a 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors at the back. While the Redmi 6A features a single 13-megapixel sensor at the rear. Both the phones feature a 5-megapixel front camera. Both the phones are powered by a similar 3,000mAh battery. Connectivity options on both phones include dual-SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and GPS. The Redmi 6 comes with a fingerprint sensor, but the Redmi 6A supports face unlock feature instead.

The Redmi 6 Pro is the most premium of the three, and it was also launched as Mi A2 Lite globally. The smartphone features a 5.84-inch FHD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor with up to 4GB RAM.
In terms of camera, the smartphone features a dual-camera setup at the back with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor. There is a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies. The Redmi 6 Pro gets a 4,000mAh battery. On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9 on top. The smartphone also sports a dedicated microSD card slot with support up to 256GB.
Redmi 6 Series Expected Price in India
The Redmi 6 price in China starts at CNY 799 (Rs. 8,400 approx.) for the 3GB+32GB variant while the 4GB+64GB model costs CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,500). The Redmi 6A is priced at CNY 599 (Rs. 6,300 approx.) for the only 2GB+16GB variant. Lastly, the Redmi 6 Pro is priced at CNY 999 (Rs. 10,400 approx.) for the 3GB+32GB variant. The 4GB RAM+32GB variant costs CNY 1,199 (roughly Rs. 12,500) and the 4GB+ 64GB variant is priced at CNY 1,299 (Rs. 13,600 approx.).
