Xiaomi Mi VR Play: Specs
Coming to specs, the Mi VR Play is equipped with a two-way zip for optimum compatibility with different sized smartphones. It is compatible with Google Cardboard out of the box. Xiaomi has used lightweight Lycra as the building material of the newly launched VR headset. This makes the accessory comfortably lightweight while enhancing its longevity. The front of the Mi VR Play has two distinct openings for fine adjustments and ventilation of the handset placed inside. The latest virtual reality gizmo is compatible with smartphones having a screen size between 4.7-inch to 5.7-inch. It is not only made for Xiaomi devices, but also for other handsets from different manufacturers. With the anti-reflective lens, the headset offers one of the best image quality.
Moving on the cosmetic part, Xiaomi’s new VR headset features a textured metal button with silicon on the other size. There are anti-slip trays for optimum placement and rigidity of the smartphone. As of now, only the black coloured version will be sold in India. Speaking of usability, you can use the Mi VR Play to stream 360-degree videos on YouTube, use the brand new Mi Live VR platform, view panoramic VR-friendly photos, and do all the stuff that an entry-level VR headset can do. The Xiaomi Mi VR Play will be available for purchase for Rs. 999 from the official Mi.com website on December 21 at 12 noon.
