The company will launch the Mi Max 3 next month as confirmed by CEO Lei Jun. Now, a new Xiaomi smartphone with model numbers M1804E4A, M1804E4T have been certified by TENAA in China and this could be the Mi Max 3. The successor to last year’s Mi Max 2 is said to feature several upgrades including a 7-inch FHD+ 18:9 display, 6GB RAM, and dual rear cameras with AI portraits.
Xiaomi Mi Max 3 expected specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will sport a 6.99-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved glass display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The Dual SIM phone will run MIUI 9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and it will also be upgradable to the latest MIUI 10. Hardware section will be equipped with a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 processor with Adreno 509 GPU. It will be coupled with up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage. For optics, there will be a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP primary Sony IMX363 sensor, and a 5MP secondary rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. There will be an 8MP front-facing camera. There will be a Fingerprint sensor on the back and it may also support face unlock feature. Connectivity options will include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz) MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, and USB Type-C port. It will pack a 5400mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support using bundled 18W charger. The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 will be launched next month as mentioned above and it is expected to come to India soon after the official announcement in China.
