Xiaomi had launched the Mi Max 2 smartphone in India back in July with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for Rs. 16,999. Today, Xiaomi India has tweeted about the new 32GB storage variant of the phone with a lesser price tag. The phone packs the same specs as the earlier version.

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 Specifications
The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 features a full metal unibody with 6.44 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs MIUI 8 based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it is scheduled to get MIUI 9 update as well.
Coming to the hardware, the new Mi Max 2 is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.0 GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. This is further coupled with 4GB RAM along with 32GB inbuilt storage. The storage is expandable with microSD. On the camera front, the Xiaomi Mi Max 2 sports a 12 MP rear camera with Sony IMX386 sensor with a large pixel size of 1.25μm and f/2.2 aperture. Other features include PDAF, dual tone dual LED flash and support for 4K recording. The phone features a 5MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and 85-degree wide angle lens. Connectivity options on the latest phablet include dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, USB Type C, NFC, and an Infrared sensor. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 packs a massive 5,300 mAh battery with the support for Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0. You can charge the Mi Max 2’s battery from 0% to 68% in just an hour. The phone features 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers for an immersive experience.
