Surprisingly, Samsung has decided to go with the 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 variant in India this time, rather than sticking to its Exynos brand of chipsets. This is good news that Samsung hasn’t repeated the Galaxy S5 mistake and provided a true high end LTE (Cat 6) enabled smartphone. The chipset is also aided by 3 GB RAM and Adreno 420 GPU. The 5.7 inch display has 1440 x 2560 pixel Quad HD resolution and it’s the first Super AMOLED Display with high 515 ppi. The crisp and sharp display is protected by gorilla glass 3. The 16 MP primary camera feature Smart OIS and can record 4k videos. Samsung has paid due attention to front camera as well. Note 4 will have a 3.7 MP front camera with F1.9 aperture to capture 60 percent more light. You can click images by using heart rate sensor as shutter. The front camera can capture Wide Selfies. S-Pen is more robust with added features like Smart Select (allows you to select multiple things from different places and bundle them together), Snap Note (click image and add Note), etc. Multi Windows has also been improved. Software is latest TouchWiz UI layered on top of Android 4.4 Kitkat The 3200 mAh battery can rapidly charge to 50 percent in first 30 minutes. Other features include WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (HT80) MIMO PCIe , Bluetooth v4.1 LE / ANT+, GPS / GLONASS / Beidou , USB2.0 and MHL 3.0. Vodafone customers who are not active on data packs can avail 2 GB of free data per month till April 30, while those already on Vodafone data pack will get 1 GB of free data per month.
