The smartphone will come with a faux leather back (we are seeing that a lot these days) and a curved 2.5 D display similar to what we saw on phones like Lumia 920. The new Philips smartphone will be powered by 1.7 GHz MT6592 true octa core chipset. Philips will also include stereo speakers in the 7.9 mm thick chassis with a faux leather finish at the back. The primary camera at the rear will house a 13 MP sensor with wide f2.0 aperture and autofocus. The front camera with 5 MP sensor will have an 88 degree wide angle lens to entice selfie lovers. In India we don’t yet have a 6 inch phablet with full HD resolution in the mid range segment and thus, if Philips manages to keep the price right, I928 can be more attractive proposition than its siblings launched today. The phone is expected to arrive in India Next month.
