Oppo has let everyone in on more design details. The Oppo R7 will flaunt a unibody metal design and will have an ultra slim profile similar to Oppo R5. The company further added, “In addition to the 2.5D touch screen, it continues the metallic design of the premium R series to provide a luxurious feel as well as a high-quality visual experience. Besides further increasing the metallic ratio, the OPPO R7 sports a metal unibody undergoing 48 polishing processes to retain the original metallic flavor as well as a curvy and lustrous charm, thus delivering a peerless feel in the hand.”

All those curves will make it easier to handle, and perhaps it won’t dig in your hands like R5. Nothing has been officially confirmed about the other hardware just yet, but from other profuse leaks, we can expect a 4.7 Inch 1080P Full HD display, a pixel rich 20.7 MP rear camera sensor and Octa Core MediaTek 6795 chipset. The handset will surely flaunt, OPPO’s proprietary VOOC rapid charging technology, which received a positive nod from tech community worldwide. Innovation and Build quality have always been, rather strong points for OPPO devices, but the information we are keenly awaiting for is the price. Since R5 is selling for 30K, R7 should at least be a couple of thousand more, which will again put OPPO in a tough spot. Will OPPO add another innovative aspect to R7 or all new stuff, including the bezel-less design would be reserved for upcoming Find series flagship phone? Since the official launch is pegged for 20th May, we won’t have to wait too long to know what OPPO is cooking. There are great chances of more elaborate leaks before the big day arrives.
