While the Nokia 9 and the Nokia 6 (2018) were spotted on 3C earlier, revealing some key specifications. Now, NokiaMob has secured screenshots from Nokia 5 Android Oreo beta build, showing the new combination. The screenshot is from the camera user interface and reveals a telephoto and wide angle lens combination for the lenses.
Nokia 9 Dual cameras and more
While the Nokia 6 (2018) is expected to be an upgrade to the current model, it is the Nokia 9 that may sport dual cameras. The Nokia 6 (2018) is tipped to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device may be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The Nokia 9 is expected to be the next year flagship from the HMD Global led smartphone brand. It is expected to be launched in January next year along with the new Nokia 6 in China. It is for the Nokia flagship that we may see the dual camera setup.
In the screenshot, we can see the camera user interface with various shutter speeds and ISO controls. At the bottom, there are commands for Telephoto lens and Wide Angle lens. We can also figure that the camera will be capable of up to 2x optical zoom and fish-eye wide angle capabilities. The phone is expected to come with a 5.5-inch AMOLED panel with an Always-On display. It is rumoured to be backed by a Snapdragon 835 processor, coupled with 4GB RAM and up to 128GB internal storage. Like the Nokia 8, the Nokia 9 may also feature Carl Zeiss optics and come equipped with dual 13MP cameras with a new Telephoto and Wide angle combination from the company.
