The 5 MP fixed focus camera at the rear is unaccompanied by LED flash and can record FWVGA 480p videos. The camera wasn’t rich in details or color but you can’t expect everything for 7K price. What will be missed more is a front camera, absence of which might be a deal breaker for those passionate for selfies and Video calling.

As you can see in the camera samples above, the images are grainy with lots of noise. We tried to focus the objects but the fixed focus camera wasn’t helping much. check out some shots in even lower lighting conditions and with artificial light to judge the performance. Day light performance seemed better.

Conclusion
Moto E camera bears the brunt of cost cutting, but the competition, including phones like Nokia X and others, isn’t offering anything dazzling in terms of camera either and thus, this shouldn’t be the reason to discard Moto E.
