It was only in the last week that leading India based vendor Micromax launched the Canvas Knight A290 Cameo. So soon the firm appears to plan the launch of yet another smartphone dubbed Micromax Canvas XL2 A109. The listing of the handset on the official website has also revealed its complete specifications.
Going by the listing, the Canvas XL2 A109 is fitted with a 5.5 inch IPS display with a resolution of 960×540 pixels and employs a 1.2 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6592M processor. A Mali 400 graphics engine and 1 GB of RAM aides this processor in rendering moderate graphics and multi-tasking performance. On the imaging department, the Canvas XL2 A109 comes packed with a 5 MP main camera at its back along with LED flash and a VGA front-facing selfie camera. Also, there is a standard 4 GB of internal storage space that can be further expanded externally up to 32 GB with the help of a micro SD card. Other goodies onboard this Android 4.4 KitKat based Micromax smartphone include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2,500 mAh battery. Other than revealing the specification, the listing does not reveal any other details regarding the pricing or the release date of the handset. However, it is believed that the Micromax Canvas XL2 A109 will be going on sale soon. Lately, Micromax listed the Canvas L smartphone on its official website with similar specifications except for a better camera set.
