The 5.5 inch IPS LCD display features full HD 1080P resolution, similar to Gionee Elife E7. The display will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the software front, you will get Android 4.3 jelly bean operating system with Vibe ROM on top. The phone is powered by 2.26 GHz quad core Snapdragon 800 chipset assisted by Adreno 330 GPU and 2 GB RAM. The chipset is expected to suffice for high end usage with smooth UI transitions and graphic intensive gaming. The internal memory is only 16 GB which is disappointing considering the price range. Apart from the 5 MP front shooter, a 13 MP camera capable of full HD video recording is also present at the back with conventional features like LED flash and Autofocus. The phone is only 7.9 mm thick and weighs a moderate 147 grams. The battery capacity is 3000 mAh and Lenovo claims that this will deliver 33 hours of talk time and 27 days of standby time which is quite impressive. Connectivity features include 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac/b/g/n, Bluetooth with A2DP and aGPS. The phone will compete against other Snapdragon phones like LG G2, Gionee Elife E7 and Nexus 5 which are available for slightly cheaper price as compared to Vibe Z. The limited 16 GB storage might be a deal breaker for many. The phone is expected to be available for purchase by the end of this month, we expect the best buy price to be lesser than MRP of Rs. 35,999.
