Display and Processor

Both handsets offer crisp 5.5 inch Full HD display at a very reasonable price. If a sharp display ranks on top of your priority list, neither of the two IPS LCD panels will disappoint you. The Yu Yureka Plus is powered by 1.5 GHz Snapdragon 615 octa core chipset (big.LITTLE) and the K3 note is fueled by its arch nemesis, the MediaTek MT6752 octa core with all 8 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz.  You can read our detailed comparison of both  of these chips, where we find MT6752 to be a tad bit better.

Camera and Internal Storage

Both the Lenovo K3 Note and Yu Yureka Plus include 13 MP rear cameras and 5 MP front shooter. Comparing the rear camera of the two devices, Yu Yureka Plus feels better with the new Sony sensor and improved software. Internal storage is 16GB on both Yureka and K3 Note and there is provision for adding a MicroSD card for further expansion.

Battery and Other Features

The battery capacity on Lenovo K3 Note is 3000 mAh and the one on Yureka Plus is 2500 mAh. The difference in practical usage backup isn’t much though. Both phones will give you almost one day of moderate usage, but the Lenovo K3 Note lasts a bit longer. Both smartphones are running Android Lollipop based OS and include 4G LTE support.  You can expect future version updates too. However, Cyanogen OS 12 on Yureka Plus offers vast community support and should be prefered by users who like to toggle with every aspect of their device.

Conclusion

Both Lenovo K3 Note and Yureka Plus are great options for basic users, but after the fresh price cut, Yureka Plus is cheaper, which is a big advantage in markets like India.
