Huawei P8Max
Huawei P8Max has a Phablet-esque Tablet-esque display size of 6.8 Inches, which doesn’t sound very portable or smartphone like but still has its place among consumers who love to consume media content on large displays. Bezels are very narrow and there is Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top for added protection.
The same HiSilicon Kirin 935 64 bit Octa core big.LITTLE CPU with Mali-T628 MP4 GPU, with the high performance cortex A53 cluster clocked at 2 GHz, as in P8, will push 1920 x 1080p full HD resolution on the IPS LCD display. There is a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP front facing camera for selfies. You can record 1080p full HD videos from the rear camera. Other features include 3 GB RAM, 64 GB MicroSD support, 4G LTE, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based Emotion UI3.1, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, GLONASS and 4360 mAh Li-Po body.
Huawei P8Lite
The P8Lite comes with a marginally smaller 5 Inch display, but rather than a choice in display size, it is meant to be the low cost affordable P8 model with dialed down interior.
The 5 inch display has 1280 x 720p resolution and is powered by 1.2 GHz octa core Kirin 620 processor with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage. Imaging hardware is same on paper with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter at the front. Other features include 2 GB RAM, 128 GB MicroSD support, NFC, 4G LTE, Android 5.0.2 Lollipop based Emotion UI3.1, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, GLONASS and 2200 mAh Li-Po body. Both of these handsets will arrive in India next month. The price will be revealed when these devices hit the shelves.
