About HTC U11 Ocean Life
— Ev (@evleaks) September 13, 2017 While the HTC U11 Ocean Life is the said to be the codename for their Android One smartphone, Evan Blass also added to the information by posting an image of the HTC U11 Ocean Life (Not the Android One variant). The tweets do not leak any specifications of the phone but there have been rumours about the phone’s specifications. Expected to come with a 5.2-inch Full HD display, the HTC U11 Ocean Life is seen with a front-mounted fingerprint sensor in Evan Blass’ tweet. In the optics department, the HTC U11 is reported to feature 16MP rear as well as 16MP front-facing camera. In terms of hardware, rumours suggest a Snapdragon 630 processor, a 32GB onboard storage and 2TB expansion option via microSD card may be seen on the HTC U11 Ocean Life. While Android One is the rumoured programme on HTC U11 Ocean Life, it is expected to run Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box with HTC Edge Sense. The Edge Sense is HTC’s squeezable edge feature that lets you access apps and perform functions on your phone by squeezing its edges. Battery and connectivity options are not out yet, but we can expect Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC, and USB Type-C to be the standard options. While Stock Android and Android One are gaining prominence, it will be no surprise if HTC chooses to ditch their UI and go with Stock Android One for this device.
