WhatsApp Reactions Feature
In order to give a reaction to WhatsApp messages, you just tap and hold on to a message and you will see a number of emojis below the messages. These emojis will include like, love, laugh, sad, surprise, and thanks.
When you tap on any emoji, it will be sent as a reaction to that message to the sender of that message. It will also be visible to you. There could be more than one reaction to a message in case of a group chat, just like we see on FB posts and comments.
WhatsApp 2GB File Transfer
Apart from the WhatsApp reactions feature, you can now send larger files on WhatsApp. From the previous limit of 100MB, WhatsApp has now increased the file sharing limit up to 2GB in size at a time. Moreover, this transfer will also be protected by end-to-end encryption, just like messages. WhatsApp recommends using WiFi for these larger files. Users will also see a counter while uploading or downloading the file. This will let them know how much time the transfer will take. The feature is slowly rolling to all users.
WhatsApp 512 Member Group
Another useful feature that WhatsApp has introduced lately is an increased group member limit. From now on, users will be able to add up to 512 members to a group. The messenger is slowly rolling out the feature for all Android and iOS users. This feature will be more helpful for schools and businesses that need more people in groups. So these were the new WhatsApp features that are rolling out slowly to all users globally. If you can’t see these features on your phone, try checking for updates or wait for some time. Also, if you are a WhatsApp beta user, you might test these features right now.
