Guide to Enable Hidden Game Mode in Android 12 Beta

As far as I know, this is the first time Google has given a Gaming mode in the vanilla Android system, as of now till Android 11 it is the OEM brands that included the game mode in their own skins on top of Vanilla Android provided by Google. But now Google has understood the future of mobile phone gaming, that’s why they have introduced a gaming mode on their purest form of Android starting with Android 12, but as it still in beta, Google has hidden it deep inside. Here’s how you can enable it on your phone running on Android 12 Beta:

Open Setting on your phoneGo to Digital Wellbeing or just search itTap on Do Not DisturbClick on SchedulesEnable the Checkbox of Game ModeGo to the Game mode settingsHere you will find six options:Screenshot CaptureScreen RecordingFrames per Second (FPS) counterDo Not DisturbGame Optimization (for an individual game)Youtube Live (to stream your gameplay directly to Youtube).

That’s it, now when you enable Do Not Disturb or launch a game, the game mode will get activated. It will appear like a floating menu towards the side of the screen, which can be tapped and dragged to the other side. This will provide easy access to take a screenshot of your current screen, enable screen recording, and will display the frame rate of the gameplay.
