Asus ZenFone 5Z Full Specifications
Asus ZenFone 5Z Physical Overview
Starting with the display, the Asus ZenFone 5Z gets a similar iPhone X-like notch at the top. However, it is a more compact notch and Asus explains it to be more functional. Thanks to the taller 19:9 aspect ratio, you can view 18:9 content without any cropping from the notch. The top of the display fits the sensors along with the front-facing camera.
At the back of the device, there is a shiny warping finish with Asus branding towards the centre. The rear cameras are vertically aligned at the top left corner while the fingerprint sensor sits around the centre at the back. The phone has significantly toned down bezels and promises to fit a 6.2-inch display in a 5.5-inch phone’s footprint.
Asus ZenFone 5Z Unique Selling Points
Design
Inspired by the Apple flagship, the Asus ZenFone 5Z takes the design more seriously with refinements in the notch and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The toned down bezel and a good 90% screen-to-body ratio gives the phone premium looks. Judging by the looks of the device, design is clearly one of the major factors to buy an Asus ZenFone 5Z. One can consider the shiny back and good looks without any compromise on functionality as the fingerprint sensor is still in tact.
Artificial Intelligence
While AI is making its way to all the phone now, the ZenFone lineup is taking it a notch up. With smart features like AI ringtone and AI display, the phone makes day-to-day usage easier. For example, the device can set the ringtone volume according to the ambient noise. AI being the key factor here, the ZenUI 5 is also AI backed and learns from the user directly. The cameras and display also come with artificial intelligence features and the battery management is also done using AI which is good. Question: How is the display of Asus ZenFone 5Z?
