Fix Spotify Wrapped 2021 Not Working or Crashing

For those who are unaware, Spotify creates a personalized playlist for every user and tells which music artists, songs, and genre the users have been listening to the most throughout the year. If you can’t see yours, try these fixes:

Try Searching Wrapped in the App

The “Wrapped” for 2021 on Spotify is available on the app only. When you open the app, you will see a banner of the same on your homepage, however, if it doesn’t work, you can try an alternative, by searching:

  1. Open the app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Now, if the banner isn’t working, click on the search bar above.
  3. Here, type “Spotify:special:2021” and you will see the result below. Tap on it, and it will take you to your Wrapped in the form of cards, like Instagram stories.

Update the Spotify App

If you still can’t see your Wrapped playlist or your app is crashing, you should check for the updates on your device. If there is an update pending, the app may not behave properly.

So go to Play Store or App Store and search for Spotify and update it if the update is available. Now try again to find your Wrapped 2021.

Clear Spotify Cache Data

On Android, the apps keep many cached data and which sometimes can cause issues in the app. In the case of Spotify, this could be the reason too as we all stream music for longer periods and cache data is much more in such cases. So, on your Android, go to Settings->Apps and Notifications->Spotify->Storage & Cache-> and tap on Clear Cache.

Logout Spotify and Login Again

If you can’t see the Wrapped list on your Spotify, it might be some issue in your account. Try logging out of your account from Spotify and then log in again and see if it works for you.

  1. Open Spotify and tap on the cog (settings) icon at the top right.
  2. Now, scroll to the bottom and tap on Log out.
  3. Again tap on Log out on the confirmation pop-up. Once you’re logged out, log in again with your phone number or email address that you have used previously. Now check if the Wrapped is available for your account.

Uninstall and Reinstall Spotify from Website

Lastly, if all the fixes don’t work for you, you can uninstall the current app from your device and then reinstall it again. However, this time download the app from the Spotify website on any browser like Chrome or Safari and then install it on your device.

After that, don’t forget to log in to your account, the same which you have been using throughout the year. Now try to find the ” 2021 Wrapped” for you. If you still can’t see the Wrapped on your device, you should try again after some time or another day. The feature is rolling out to all users and might reach some with delay.
