Moto G 2013 is under works and the leaks and rumors now seem more substantial as they all point towards the same phone. Earlier a alleged black Moto G 3rd Gen was leaked in a video and today white variant with same design has surfaced, lending high credibility to earlier set of rumors. Here are 5 things you should know.
Snapdragon 410
The rumored Moto G 2015 prototype is running Snapdragon 410 quad core which isn’t very exciting in modern set up. The Moto E 2nd Gen 4G is also running the same chipset and it would have been nice to see something more exciting under the hood.
1 GB RAM and 8 GB Storage
The leaked video with Antutu benchmarks running again points to 1 GB RAM and 8 GB native storage which again feels scanty. This still doesn’t sound very plausible to us and perhaps the final release will have atleast 2 GB RAM. A MicroSD card slot will be present for secondary storage.
13 MP Camera
Motorola has been consistently increasing the Megapixel count and overall quality for Moto G lineup and 13 MP is the next step of the ladder. Moto G 2015 success or failure will heavily rely on the rear camera setup.
Removable Back Covers
The back panel of the new Moto G will be removable and several vibrant color casings are already listed on Ali express, as you can see in the images below. The rear panel has a textured finish and the new steel plate looks fine too in the images surfaced so far.
Latest Android
Quick updates to latest Android versions have been USP of affordable Motorola smartphones. The New Moto G will debut with the latest Android 5.1.1 Lollipop on board.
Conclusion
Moto G was the first revolutionary smartphone in the affordable price segment and naturally we have a soft corner for this particular series. Specs are half the story and besides, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. we do hope Motorola surprises us a great performing Moto G3. Source: 1, 2, 3, 4
