The phone has been doing rounds of the internet in India for some time now and we know a few things about POCO F3 GT already. As tipped by many reports, it will be the rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, which Xiaomi introduced in China back in April. Moreover, POCO has also posted some teasers of the phone on Twitter that show the button layout resembling the Redmi K40 Gaming Edition.
As we already know all the specs and features of the Redmi K40 Gaming Edtion, so now we can assume the same for POCO F3 FT.
Q1. How will be the design and build quality of POCO F3 GT?
POCO F3 GT has been teased on Twitter by the company and it has also talked about the design of the phone.

This will also be the first POCO smartphone to come with a premium glass back. It also comes with an anti-fingerprint coating on top of the matte finish. Despite being a gaming phone, it will be 8.3mm in thickness and its weight will be 205g.
Q2. Will POCO F3 GT sport a higher refresh rate AMOLED display?
As teased by the company, the POCO F3 GT will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 120Hz high refresh rate.

Moreover, it’ll also be an HDR 10+ Display.
Q3. How will be the hardware performance of POCO F3 GT?
POCO F3 GT is powered by Mediatek’s 6nm Dimensity 1200 chipset with eight cores. The CPU has the latest Arm Cortex-78 core with a 1+3+4 cluster architecture that has a 3.0GHz super core, so it can operate for a longer period and offer high efficiency.
The phone will pack 6GB and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. There might also be a 12GB special variant just like Redmi K40. It also comes with a 3D cooling system with multi-stacked graphite layers combined with super-large vapor chambers that can cover all components of the phone. It also has a new aerospace-grade material with a built-in “white graphene” layer for better heat dissipation.
Q. What will be design changes for gaming on POCO F3 GT?
The device will come with a magnetic dual-trigger design for gaming control so users won’t need to buy additional gaming accessories. Its new design will allow users to play games using four fingers, instead of two.
These magnet-powered gaming triggers will offer stable and realistic pressing feedback because of the mechanical structure. The device also features RGB lighting.

The phone will come with a triple camera setup at the back that will have a 64MP primary camera with f/1.65 aperture, an 8MP 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The phone will pack a 5,065mAh battery. It will support 67W fast charging. There will be a 67W fast charger in the box that can charge the phone up to 100% in just 42 minutes. POCO F3 GT will feature dual stereo speakers that will offer a 3D sound effect while gaming as its “unobstructed” design will help to avoid interruptions caused by palms. A third microphone is said to be embedded into the left side of the phone for better audio recording while gaming.
Q. Will POCO F3 GT support 5G? What will be the other connectivity features?
POCO F3 GT will come with a built-in 5G modem that supports both SA and NSA 5G networks. Moreover, it will come with 5G dual-band technology that supports 5G carrier aggregation to increase the network speed by 100%. In terms of Wi-Fi connectivity, it will come with the latest Wi-Fi 6. Also, for the first time, the company will use a triple Wi-Fi antenna design. Other connectivity features will include Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, and NFC.

POCO India has also confirmed on Twitter that the POCO F3 GT will be available in two color variants which include Predator Black and Gunmetal Silver.

POCO India head Anuj Sharma has hinted about the POCO F3 GT price in India in a recent interview with India Today. As per him, it will be priced “around Rs 30,000” in India. However, in China, Redmi K40 Gaming Edition was launched at a starting price of 1,999 yuan (Rs. 23,00 approx.) for the 6GB+128GB version.
